Truth

Peter tells us in 2 Peter 1:16, “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.” But, what does that mean? It means that the Apostles were witnesses to Jesus Christ. It goes on to tell us in the next verse that they heard God speak from Heaven saying that “this [Jesus] is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”. It’s refreshing to know that Christ is coming again soon and that He lived and walked among us. Peter’s testimony of the risen Christ is powerful. I’m thankful for God loving us so much that He sent Jesus Christ to earth to live among His people, live the perfect life, then die for our sins and rise from the dead! May, we all walk with Him. Amen

Not Ashamed 2

Romans 1:16 teaches that we should not be ashamed of the Gospel. But, what does this mean? It means that as believers in Christ we should boldly tell others about Him. God doesn’t want us to just hide our Christianity. God is a loving Lord and wishes for all to come to Him for salvation. “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Romans 10:14”. May, we all know Him and have joy in Him and spread God’s message of love to everyone. Amen.
